- do some benchmarking to see what kind of CPU we need to encode 5-6 dvds in N hours "as quickly as possible... a few hours". dual-core athlon or core 2
Software
- Linux OS
- "No-click" operation - insert DVD in any drive will trigger encode, eject when done
- ffmpeg/transcode to slow down audio/video, watermark and convert to .flv (flash video)
- slow down audio/video: Filter_Modfps
- watermark/logo: Filter_Logo
- convert to .flv (flash video): looks to be possible, more research required
- Email (if destination mailbox is huge enough) or upload somewhere & email a link (either is easy)
